About Us

Ally Fallon

b. 1998, UK. Based in Manchester.

Ally Fallon is a painter, whose work aims to merge representational and abstract elements. Each painting exists as an individual ‘room’, initially the room is established through a process of formal considerations to create a space where anything can enter. They are spaces of contemplation built from a range of cultural and aesthetic encounters to create a distinct character.

In my paintings I tend to begin from the same point, there are consistencies in how I start a painting. I begin with a floor, this forms the literal and figurative ground for the rest of the painting. With this established I have a more tangible space to operate in and from that point I allow more intuitive elements into the work.
