Manuel Alejandro Hernandez Rivera

Colombian artist based in London.

Manuel Alejandro Hernandez Rivera is a mixed media artist, whose work uses already existing images as the primary medium for exploring the traces left by the interaction of humans and their surroundings.

Recent projects

Exhibitions include 18th International Triennial of Textile, Central Museum of Textiles, Łódź, Poland, 2025 and Bracing should always lean into opening, The Koppel Project, London, UK, 2025. Manuel is currently studying an MFA at The Slade School of Fine Arts. He was awarded the Colfuturo scholarship and has been part of the Brujula residency at Espacio Odeón in Bogotá.
